We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Feast site in Panama City Beach, Florida this fall.
Panama City Beach is known for its sugar white sandy beach and emerald water. The soft sand is actually quartz crystals, which over time have been broken down, bleached, polished and deposited on the shoreline. This natural process has made Panama City Beach home to what is called the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches"
Although the area is best known for its sugary white sand beaches and the emerald green waters, you will find plenty to do off the beach. Just a few of the family attractions include water and amusement parks, a zoo, a marine park, miniature golf, go-carts and more. Located at the east end of the city, St. Andrews State Park is one of the most popular outdoor recreation spots in Florida. The 1260 acre park has thick forests, sand dunes covered with sea oats, fresh and saltwater marshes, a lagoon swimming area, fishing piers, hiking trails, 1.5 miles of beach and two campgrounds.
Panama City and Panama City Beach offers a wide array of dining and shopping choices that should satisfy everyone's tastes.
The Feast will be held at the Majestic Beach Resort and Conference Center, which is a beautiful condominium complex that is just over two years old. The complex consists of two towers that are built side by side, each having its own indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The Conference Center is directly across the street and is connected by two covered walkways over the street which are heated and cooled. The covered parking garage is adjacent to the Conference Center.
The condominiums are individually owned and are furnished and decorated differently, however we saw a number of the units and all of them were very nice. There are studio,
one bedroom,
two bedroom,
and three bedroom,
units, all featuring a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, all have fully equipped kitchens and all except the studio's have a washer and a dryer. All units have an eating area and a bathroom for each bedroom. All units except for the studios have a living room. For families with children there are some studio, one bedroom and two bedroom units available that have bunk beds (refer to the unit floor plans for details).
In addition to the condominiums we are also offering hotel rooms. The same management company has a Sleep Inn Hotel under construction just five minutes from the Conference Center. It is due to be completed in May or June. It will be very nice with both king rooms and rooms with two queen beds. The rate will include a free continental breakfast and high speed Internet.

The actual cost of the units will be $20.00 more per night plus tax; however, we will be buying the rate down to the amount shown for those who will be attending the Feast with us. In order to obtain these special rates you must fill out a registration form and plan to attend the Feast with us.
PLEASE NOTE: THE RESERVATION STAFF WILL QUOTE YOU THE HIGHER RATE WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION. THE RATE WILL BE ADJUSTED TO THE RATE SHOWN WHEN YOU CHECK IN.

For those wishing to arrive early or stay over, the special rates will be honored for three days prior and three days following the Feast.
Majestic Beach Resort and Conference Center requires a one night's room and tax deposit at the time of making reservation. All cancellations must be made 7 days prior to arrival to receive a full refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.
